Steven W. Braunschweig
From an early age Steve has been
influenced by his Wisconsin
surroundings. Growing up on a
dairy farm in rural Dodge County, he was
exposed to photography by family photo
albums and being involved in 4-H.
Later he was shooting photos for his
high school yearbook in Oconomowoc.
Inheriting his love of travel from his
mother, he traveled with his family
whenever farm work would allow.
His biggest adventure occurred at age 14
when he traveled to Europe and was
exposed to mountains, vineyards and
architecture that left a lasting
impression on him. He now lives in
Reedsburg, Wisconsin and loves the
scenic beauty of Sauk County and the
Baraboo Hills. He is married to
Elizabeth and they share two grown
children. Steve says that, if you
want to take good photos, get off the
main roads!
